Dr. Slubowski is originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan. She received her Bachelors in Zoology from Michigan State University, and then attended Cornell University where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Dr. Faith developed a passion for emergency medicine and critical care early in her veterinary education through working in the emergency department at Cornell University Hospital for Animals. She enjoys being able to help both cats, dogs, and exotic pets who need emergency medical attention. She has a special interest in soft tissue surgery, critical care of neonates, and avian medicine. Dr. Faith enjoys spending time with her big four-legged family: three dogs (Doc, Dozer, and Finnegan), a cat (Puppy), and a cockatiel (Boeing). She loves to ride her thoroughbred horse, and compete in agility trials or hike with her dogs.
