Dr. Mark Harmon is a board-certified specialist in veterinary cardiology. 

Originally from Fort Smith, Arkansas, Dr. Harmon received his bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Arkansas. He attended the University of Missouri for his veterinary degree, followed by a one year internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the University of Pennsylvania and then a year as an emergency veterinarian in Ann Arbor. He then returned to the University of Missouri for a cardiology specialty internship and three-year residency in veterinary cardiology. He has been board certified since 2017 having practiced in Seattle and most recently, Vancouver, British Columbia.

He is interested in all aspects of cardiology including congenital heart disease, heart failure management, and arrhythmia management and how these can improve his patient's quality of life. Outside of work, he is looking forward to exploring Michigan again with his wife, two dogs (Boone, a Newfoundland, and Andy Dufresne, a Labrador mix), and two Maine Coon cats (David and Twyla).
