Dr. Pasternak is originally from West Bloomfield, Michigan. She received both her undergraduate degree in zoology and doctorate of veterinary medicine from Michigan State University. During her time in veterinary school, she worked at AEH as a veterinary assistant where her passion for emergency medicine began. After graduation, she pursued a small animal rotating internship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is excited to be back in Michigan to provide care to pets and their families in the area. In her free time, Dr. Pasternak enjoys exploring local restaurants and wineries, playing video games, and traveling.
