Dr. Ruth Scott received her DVM from Michigan State’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation she completed a rotating internship in Small Animal Medicine & Surgery VCA Animal Referral and Emergency Center of Arizona. Dr. Ruth then completed a Small Animal Surgical Internship at Louisiana State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital. She spent a year in research at the University of Minnesota’s Clinical Investigation Center and went on to complete a Residency in Small Animal Surgery at University of Minnesota Veterinary Medical Center. 

Dr. Ruth's medical interests include orthopedic surgery, specifically trauma and various soft tissue surgeries. She enjoys working closely with clients in order to provide their pets with optimal care as well as interacting with their family veterinarians.  

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and daughter along with their 4 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and a Basset Hound.
